The process of approval of an entity
Relocating to Monaco to exercise one or more activities obtaining financial needs:
The following are required to establish a trading base in Monaco to provide one or more financial services:
- accreditation from the Commission for the intended activities ;
- Monaco government accreditation to set up an institution in the Principality ;
- in certain cases, accreditation from the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel française (credit institutions only).

Prior to formal submission of an accreditation application an appointment must be made with the General Secretariat to explain the intended activities.
Request which involves the submission of the accreditation dossier supplemented and enriched by complementary documentary evidence.
The Commission’s decision shall be delivered within six months of complete dossier submission.
All changes to the initial accreditation dossier must be the object of a new process before the Commission de Contrôle des Activités Financières.
